THE WORDS ARE COMING, I FEEL TERRIBLE.
IS IT TYPICAL FOR US TO END LIKE THIS?

Moving to Boston was one of the best decisions Harper has ever made in her life. She hated the place back in Arizona. It was only the people in her house that made her sick of it. She was tired of being constantly ignored and being brought down by her brothers. They were the geniuses. They were the perfect sons you can possibly ask for. Harper was tired of having her father yell at her for experimenting with make up. Growing up, she was the girly girl and loved make up. Lipstick, eye shadow. Yes, we were all children and plays with lots of things. Playing tea party, and playing with dolls. Well, that was for a girl at least. As for guys, legos and action figures. Watching cartoons as well. Harper missed the old days, really.

The only thing that made her want to go back to live in Phoenix was her party friends. They always cheered her up no matter what the circumstances were. If she was feeling really down or just not feeling herself. A group of about six would go out and get hammered. Possibly do something illegal in the process too. Jumping fences, oh yeah -- that was something Harper was famous for. She was a daredevil back home. Thats how she gained many nicknames.

It was like any other day in Massachusetts. Hot, sunny, and dry with a few winds in between. It reminded her of home almost. Though back there, it was beyond hotter, and more dry. Transitioning from different environments wasn't very difficult for this nineteen year old. She took it day by and day. Slowly adjusting to the new people, new trends and everything that came with starting fresh. Getting a job wasn't so hard either. She pleased people easily with her radiant smile and strong convincing words. Pursuing to be a make-up artist was one of her ambitions when Harper got here. She wanted to finally do something that made her happy. Not her family or any one else.

Harper loved this job in fact. You didn't have to wake up so fucking early that you'd be a cranky person all day long. She got the rest she needed, a good pay and great co-workers too. Not too long ago, Harper met someone her age, and worked in the same department -- Hayley. This girl takes a lot for first impressions. Hayley seemed pretty upbeat. Someone Harper could get along with considering she was very hyper and active as well.

Arriving into the dressing room, Harper begin to set up things neatly. She was a neat freak, and rather a perfectionist. Working with fidelity was her obsession. Almost like OCD ; but not really. Twirling an angled eyeshadow brush in her hand, she patiently waited for models to walk in. It was early, but they came in whenever they felt like it.

Boston was definitely something new for Hayley. It wasn't at all what she was used to. Sure, San Diego was nice and beautiful, but it wasn't Boston. There was a whole new life waiting for her in Boston that she had yet to discover, but she was diving in head first and she wasn't worried about the consequences of doing so. Hayley was really a free spirit. She was naturally upbeat and kindhearted. She didn't let the troubles of everyday life weigh her down and she always had a smile on her face. That was just the kind of person that she was. Moving to Boston was one of the better decisions she had made with her life. Her family was driving her insane and she was literally being suffocated. So, he did the best thing she could think of.. move as far from them as her funds would allow. Boston was where she ended up and she wasn't going to complain. Believe it or not, she liked it there. It was a breath of fresh air for Hayley.

She even landed a pretty sweet job in her new city. Being a make-up artist at a local modeling agency. Ever since she was a little girl, Hayley loved playing with make up. She was your typical little kid, though, always getting into the things she wasn't supposed to touch and whatnot. That included her Mother's make-up. She would bug her parents when gift giving holidays would come around for something that involved make-up, whether it would be some kind of barbie or some other sort of doll, as long as she got to put fake make-up on it, she was happy. Really, she was a pathetic child, but it gave her something to do with herself while her mom and dad paid more attention to her brother.

Of course she loved her job more than life in itself, but she also loved to sing and was persuing a singing career on the side of it. Hayley was a musician and she loved to play her music and to sing the songs she wrote. She wasn't really making a name for herself yet, but yes, she went to gigs every now and then and played her music. That's what she really loved to do. Probably even more than put make up on famous models. Hayley was a dreamer and that's what she was good at. She set her hopes high so that one day she'd reach them and be able to look back and smile at all of the things that she'd accomplished for herself. She wasn't afraid to try and she wasn't afraid to shoot for the stars.

Pulling into the parking lot, Hayley killed the engine of her truck and removed the keys from the ignition. For such a little girl, she sure drove a big truck. No one really said anything about it though. It was her baby and she took very, very good care of it. Plus, she paid for it with her own money and she was able to see over the steering wheel, so she didn't see a problem in driving it. Grabbing her bag from the passenger's seat, Hayley tossed her keys inside and hopped down from the vehicle. Locking it behind her, she made her way into the building, making sure to say hello to everyone she passed along the way to the make-up studio. She was in a good mood every day of her life and she tried to get everyone else in a good mood too. After all, the smile she gave people could very well brighten up someone's day. Entering the studio, she noticed Harper was already there and setting up her stuff like usual. "Harper, baby, today is going to be a good day," she said with a grin and proceeded to set up her own station.

Like most people, Harper's very precise when it comes to applying make up on someone. Whether it's herself or not. She isn't the type of girl to rush things or just slap random things on. Harper usually has the ideas planned up in her head. As a child, she experimented a lot. She knew what to do combine and not. Scrolling through magazines give her a lot of reviews and opinions on certain products. Her goal was to apply lots of make up on people, without having that heavy feel. Something you can wipe off with just a wet towel. Before arriving into the studio, Harper had picked up a small cup of coffee from the staff lounge. Whoever needed a break or just didn't want to be stuck doing whatever they were go there. The employees chat, drink, and have a few laughs and what not.

She set the angled brush back into its place and sat on the counter with her legs crossed in a lady like position. Of course, no one walked in -- yet. A tall upbeat girl walked in moments later, of course, Harper knew it was automatically Hayley. She was a good co-worker of hers and make friends in a snap. They had the weirdest moments and not afraid to tease eachother every once in awhile.

"Harper, baby, today is going to be a good day,"

Harper took a sip of coffee and set it gently down and had a small smile graze across her face. "And why's that?" This nineteen loved that Hayley had such a positive attitude to everything. A very bubbly person and someone you could always hang out with and never get bored.

Back home, there was no one like her but Harper herself. Her friends were rather cocky and stubborn. Narrow minded and just didn't really give a damn about anything in life. That irritated Harper in a way that she couldn't explain so. But she loved drinking and partying with them. They knew the sickest and biggest parties in town. She had just realized that her drinking issue had come to an ease and was no longer a problem like it was back in Arizona. When you're exposed to so much alcohol in your early teen years, its life scarring and that was the last thing Harper wanted. She didn't want to be an alcoholic for the rest of her life. She didn't see that taking part of it anywhere.

So what if this wasn't what Hayley was used to? She never exactly invested too much into uncertainty because she was always so excited to see what that particular uncertainty was going to bring into her life. Hayley was generally just a big kid. She loved doing the most random things like chasing butterflies and playing on playgrounds. Every single day of her life was a good one and she never invested must interest in the bad things that went on in her life. Today felt like it was going to be a good day. She couldn't exactly pin point why she had that feeling, but she knew that it was a strong one. When she got smiles on the streets from strangers, that generally made her think that the day was going to be a good one. Really, it didn't take much to keep the nineteen year old happy and smiling.

"You know, I don't exactly have an answer for you on that one, but I just have a feeling it's going to be a good day," she said with a small nod as she started unpacking the make-up she needed out of her black bag next to one of the counters. Hayley grew up playing around make-up and she knew what she was doing for the most part. She wasn't the type of person to just slop a whole bunch of stuff on and call it a masterpiece. No, Hayley took her time with the people that she worked on. She didn't let them leave that room looking anything less than amazing. Hayley honestly took pride in her work. She didn't do it because she was forced to make them look good, no, she did it because she loved what she did. That was probably one of the reasons that she could get up out of bed every single day and be happy the moment she walked through the doors.

"So, who do we have coming to greet us with their presence today? I didn't check with anyone, so.." she said with grin on her face. Really, she liked to do a little research to see who she was going to be working on the night before she came into work, but she didn't this time. She was taking a new surprise tactic. She figured that if she was a good make-up artist, she'd be able to work on anyone at a moments notice instead of reading up on their complexion or their clothing style. Hayley was always pushing herself to do better. She didn't like settling for second best and it was obvious in the way she did her work. "I hope they're nice. I mean, some of the people here need to chill out, but other than that.. " she said with a small giggle. Gosh, Hayley could find humor in absolutely anything. That was probably what made her so childlike and innocent.

Hayley didn't care what people thought about her. She was her own person and if someone had a problem with her, then they obviously were not worth her time. Though, generally, Hayley got a long and was friends with just about everybody. There was honestly not a single person that Hayley didn't like at the Agency. Everyone she met, she attempted to make friends with and hang out with. Though, with as bubbly as she was, that really wasn't a problem for her. "You look pretty today, by the way," she said with a grin. The best part about working in a modeling agency was that it was filled with the most beautiful women in all of Boston which clearly gave Hayley things to look at while she worked. She often wondered why Harper was behind the scenes rather than in front of the camera herself.
